Understanding Insurance in MA

Understanding insurance coverage in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is a difficult task. Families fall into various statuses and determining eligibility of coverage for services is difficult. Dave has extensive experience assisting families faced with navigating though the vast array of problems that arise when obtaining coverage for their children.
Some believe that the ARICA law guarantees their access to services, but the unfortunate reality is that there are many exceptions. The fortunate reality exists in that many families often have more access to ABA coverage than they realize. At FPI, we will help you navigate through the maze of insurance coverage options to access coverage for services.
Since the ARICA law was established in 2011, many families did not realize how co-pays, deductibles and other costs affect ABA services. They find themselves with large out-of-pocket costs that could potentially be covered.
During initial intake and validation of coverage, FPI staff will walk you through what you need to know in order to make an informed decision about starting ABA services for your child and related costs and expenses. As all parents of children with Autism know, insurance is always an involved and ever-changing process. At FPI, you can speak to a parent who has had to fight for coverage time and time again. We are here to help you navigate this process.
BY PARENTS. FOR PARENTS.
